PikTop User Agreement

Hello, internet people! These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of PikTop, a service that allows users to submit TikTok URLs to be displayed and ranked by view count. PikTop is operated by PikTop, a project by Louis Barclay ("PikTop," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using PikTop (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree to them, please don't use the site.

1. Your Access to the Service

By using PikTop, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction.
  • You can enter into a binding legal agreement.
  • You haven't been previously banned from using PikTop.

PikTop does not host TikTok videos. Users submit links to public TikTok videos only. The platform does not embed videos or host any content from TikTok directly.

2. Your Account

To use PikTop, you must create a username and provide a valid email address. PikTop does not use passwords.

  • Your username will be publicly displayed.
  • Your email address will not be displayed publicly but will be stored and associated with your submissions.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address you provide. You must not impersonate others or use misleading usernames.

Your use of PikTop is also governed by our Privacy Policy , which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

3. Submitting Content to PikTop

Users can submit public TikTok video URLs only. No original uploads, comments, tags, or metadata are allowed. PikTop reserves the right to:

  • Display submitted URLs
  • Rank them based on view count
  • Remove or modify submissions for any reason

Once a TikTok URL is submitted, it cannot be edited or deleted by the user. Please be sure before you post.

4. Intellectual Property & Platform Rights

  • PikTop owns the design, code, and aesthetic elements of the platform.
  • You retain rights in your username but grant PikTop a license to use, store, and display your submissions (TikTok URLs) for any purpose related to the Service.
  • Reverse engineering and responsible scraping are permitted, as long as your use complies with applicable laws and doesn't interfere with the Service.

5. Third-Party Content Disclaimer

PikTop only displays links to TikTok content, and we do not host, control, or verify the content of any TikTok videos. Accordingly:

  • PikTop makes no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or legality of linked TikTok content.
  • Your use of TikTok content accessed through PikTop is entirely at your own risk.
  • TikTok is a third-party platform and has its own Terms of Service and privacy practices.

6. Things You Cannot Do

You may not use PikTop to:

  • Submit spam or malicious URLs (including phishing links or malware)
  • Submit content that is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise violates applicable law
  • Attempt to access or disrupt our backend systems or databases
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Harvest user emails or scrape non-public data
  • Submit private TikTok content or URLs that violate TikTok's own terms

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or ban users who violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. Enforcement decisions are made at our sole discretion.

8. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Revised" date at the top of this page.

For minor updates or routine changes, the updated Terms will always be clearly posted on the site and take effect immediately upon posting. By continuing to use PikTop after any such updates, you agree to be bound by the new version.

For major updates, such as changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we may also notify you by email before the changes take effect.

9. Copyright, Trademark, and DMCA

If you believe content linked through PikTop infringes your copyright, please contact us at: hi@louis.work.

Include the following:

  • Your full name and contact info
  • A description of the copyrighted work
  • The URL of the allegedly infringing content
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
  • A statement that your claim is accurate under penalty of perjury

PikTop complies with applicable copyright law and will respond to takedown requests appropriately.

We do not claim any ownership of TikTok content — all rights belong to their respective creators and/or TikTok.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that PikTop will be:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free
  • Free from harmful components
  • Compatible with your device or browser

To the fullest extent permitted under UK law, PikTop disclaims all warranties, express or implied. PikTop is not liable for:

  • The accuracy or legality of any TikTok content linked on the site
  • Any damages resulting from bugs, malware, or third-party interference
  • Any loss of data, opportunity, goodwill, or reputation

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PikTop, its owners, affiliates, and staff from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree that any disputes related to these Terms or the use of the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

13. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to PikTop at any time, for any reason or no reason, including for violating these Terms.
  • Some sections of these Terms will survive termination (e.g., IP rights, disclaimers, governing law).

14. Miscellaneous

  • If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
  • Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
  • Headings are for convenience only.
  • These Terms are the entire agreement between you and PikTop.
